Ficus Health: I Built the Site for a 120-Clinic AI Platform

Ficus Health: I Built the Site for a 120-Clinic AI Platform
Overview

Ficus Health is the AI documentation platform running inside 120+ German rehab clinics. Doctors speak to patients, Ficus transcribes the conversation, generates a DRV-compliant discharge report, and checks it against 60+ quality criteria, all in real time. The result: 2 hours saved per report, 13 hours per doctor each month, up to 70% lower documentation costs. I designed and built their Webflow marketing site to position them as the obvious choice for clinical procurement teams across the DACH region.

The Problem

Ficus Health had a genuinely impressive product and no website. In German healthcare, buyers don't respond to marketing claims, they look for hard trust signals: ISO 27001 certification, BSI C5 attestation, DSGVO compliance, named clinical references. The site had to surface all of these without reading like a compliance document. It also had to explain AI-powered documentation to three very different audiences: medical directors evaluating vendor shortlists, IT leads assessing integration architecture, and clinic administrators running ROI calculations. All in both German and English, from a single CMS that a lean startup could run without me on speed dial.

The Build

I designed the site as a component-driven Webflow system, reusable templates for solutions, integration, IT security, careers, blog, and about. The visual language is built around clinical precision: restrained typography, generous whitespace, a blue-to-indigo gradient palette. ISO badges, BSI attestation, and DSGVO markers are first-class components in the design system, wired in from day one rather than bolted on.

The hero animation was the centrepiece. I built an interactive GSAP pulse-dot field where hundreds of energy dots drift toward invisible attractors, a direct visual metaphor for how Ficus processes unstructured patient data into structured documentation. Scroll-triggered reveals walk visitors through the product journey: conversation capture, transcription, peer review, KIS integration. A technical workflow made intuitive enough for a medical director to grasp in 30 seconds.

Multi-language runs through Weglot: fully localised German and English from a single CMS, no duplication, no synchronisation headaches. Finsweet attributes handle blog filtering, dynamic tables of contents, and social sharing. I built CMS collections for blog posts, job listings, case studies, team profiles, and testimonials, all structured so the Ficus team can publish through the Webflow Editor. Custom form handling with validation and CRM routing connects demo requests and white paper downloads straight into their pipeline.

The Outcome

Ficus Health launched with a digital presence that goes head-to-head with enterprise healthcare vendors on trust. The site is their primary acquisition channel: demo requests, white paper downloads, and lead qualification all run through it without human triage. Their lean team publishes independently through the CMS. German-speaking clinic directors and English-speaking international partners both get a localised experience from the same source of truth. The site now anchors their entire go-to-market motion, sales, conferences, inbound, all of it.
