Process
The CRO process: no opinions, just data
Most CRO problems turn out to be instrumentation problems. Untracked CTAs, mis-firing events, two analytics tools disagreeing about the same number. Before any test runs, I audit what is being measured, fix the gaps, and baseline the funnel for at least two weeks so every later test has a clean starting line. Every change is justified by data, not gut feeling.
The loop is simple: audit the funnel, establish a clean baseline, write a hypothesis grounded in actual user behaviour, test a single variable, measure the result, and document everything in a decision log. Winners ship. Losers get logged with notes on what to test next. Inconclusive results tell you the variable did not matter; that is a finding too.
