Gregg Martin comedy and content portfolio

Gregg Martin comedy and content portfolio
Overview

Gregg Martin is an actor, writer, and producer on a mission to make people laugh. He reached out for a unique Webflow website to showcase his acting history and create a home for his regularly produced comedy content.

We spent time crafting a professional but fun browsing experience that lets visitors find his work easily and stay engaged across project archives, video content, and social material. The project moved from Figma design through to a Webflow build that balances entertainment branding with portfolio clarity.

The Webflow CMS supports the regular addition of new content, performances, and projects, giving Gregg an easy way to keep the site current as his comedy and acting work expands.

The Problem

Gregg Martin is a working actor, writer, and producer with real credits across Comedy Central and other networks. But his existing online presence did not tell that story effectively. His work was scattered across platforms: some clips on YouTube, a few credits on IMDb, social media accounts that did their own thing. There was no single place where a casting director, production company, or potential collaborator could go to understand who Gregg is, what he has done, and what he can do next.

For a creative professional whose career depends on being discoverable and memorable, that fragmentation was costing opportunities. When someone in the industry Googles your name after seeing a clip or hearing about you from a colleague, the first result needs to present your work professionally and completely. Gregg was essentially invisible to that search moment, or worse, visible only through scattered pieces that did not add up to a coherent professional identity.

The site also needed to serve as a living content hub for Gregg's regularly produced comedy content, not just a static portfolio. He creates consistently, and the platform needed to support that creative output without requiring technical help for every update.

The Build

I designed the site in Figma and built it in Webflow to be both a professional portfolio and a living content hub. The design balances entertainment personality with portfolio clarity, so the site feels like Gregg rather than a generic actor template. We spent time crafting a browsing experience that is professional but fun, matching Gregg's comedic voice while maintaining the credibility that industry professionals expect.

The Webflow CMS supports regular content additions, giving Gregg a way to add new performances, projects, and comedy content as his work expands. I structured the content architecture so visitors can browse by project type, dive into video content, or explore the full archive without getting lost. The build is responsive and performs well on mobile, because a significant portion of industry browsing happens on phones between meetings.

Typography and layout were tuned carefully on this project. An actor's portfolio needs to present headshots, credits, and video content clearly without feeling like a database. The design treats each project entry as a story rather than a data point, which makes browsing the archive feel like exploring a career rather than scanning a CV.

The Outcome

Gregg Martin now has a single, professional home for everything he does. The site showcases his acting history alongside his current comedy content in a way that feels cohesive rather than scattered across platforms. When someone searches his name, they find a comprehensive, well-designed presentation of his work rather than fragments.

The CMS gives him the independence to keep the site current as new projects land, without needing to call a developer every time he books a role or releases new content. For an actor and creator whose next opportunity might come from someone Googling his name after seeing a clip, having a site that presents his work professionally and completely is a genuine career asset.

The site does what a portfolio should do: it makes the work look good, it makes the person behind the work feel real, and it makes it easy for the right people to take the next step. For a working creative, that combination is worth more than any amount of social media followers.
