🌎Agility CMS is a headless content management system for building and managing digital experiences across platforms. It lets teams update content quickly and deliver omnichannel experiences with ease.
Agility CMS works alongside Webflow as a headless content hub for omnichannel distribution. While Webflow handles the visual presentation layer for your website, Agility CMS manages content that needs to appear across multiple channels -- Webflow, mobile apps, digital kiosks, and email. Content editors work in Agility's interface, and the content is delivered to Webflow via API for display within your visually designed layouts.
The integration pattern uses Agility CMS's Content API and webhooks to keep content in sync with Webflow CMS. When content is published in Agility, a webhook fires to a middleware service that updates the corresponding Webflow CMS items. This creates a decoupled architecture where content and presentation are managed separately -- ideal for larger organisations with dedicated content teams working across multiple digital properties.
Choosing between Agility CMS and Webflow's native CMS comes down to content distribution needs. If your content lives only on your Webflow site, Webflow's native CMS is simpler and more integrated. If you need one content repository powering a Webflow site, a React Native app, and email campaigns simultaneously, Agility CMS as the content hub with Webflow as the web presentation layer is the more scalable architecture.
