Apilio brings smart home and IoT automation capabilities to Webflow sites through its API, enabling developers to build dashboards, control panels, and monitoring interfaces that interact with real-world devices. While Apilio is primarily a home automation platform, its API-first architecture makes it surprisingly useful for Webflow projects that need to display or control IoT data.
For Webflow-based dashboards and monitoring portals, Apilio's API provides access to device states, sensor readings, and automation triggers. You can display real-time temperature, energy usage, or device status on a Webflow page, and build interactive controls that send commands back to Apilio -- turning lights on, adjusting thermostats, or triggering scenes directly from your website.
The integration typically involves server-side middleware that polls Apilio's API and pushes data to Webflow CMS Collections, or client-side JavaScript that calls the API directly for real-time interactions. Apilio's condition-based logic engine also lets you create automations triggered by Webflow events -- for example, sending a notification to a smart display when a Webflow form is submitted.
