Connect Webflow forms to OCR.space via automation platforms like Zapier or Make, or through a custom middleware script. When a file is uploaded, it is sent to the OCR.space API, and the JSON response containing extracted text is parsed and used to populate your Webflow CMS or trigger workflows.
OCR.space offers a generous free tier with 25,000 API requests per month, which is sufficient for most small to medium Webflow sites. Paid plans are available for higher volumes or advanced features like faster processing and priority support.
OCR.space supports over 20 languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and more. You can specify the language for better accuracy, or use the auto-detect feature to handle multi-language documents.
OCR.space is primarily optimised for printed text and achieves very high accuracy on clean documents. It can attempt handwriting recognition, but results vary significantly depending on handwriting clarity. For best results, use it with typed or printed documents.
OCR.space supports multi-page PDF processing. You can either upload the entire PDF for complete text extraction across all pages, or split the PDF into individual pages using additional tools before sending to the API for page-level processing.
